The Keyence IV-500CA is a vision sensor for standard distance with color CMOS and automatic focus adjustment, delivering image data with 752×480 pixels and can be flexibly used at a distance of 50 to 500 mm. It is equipped with white light LED illumination, which can be switched between pulse and DC operation, and offers 16 tools for shape, color, and area analysis as well as a tool for position adjustment. The sensor supports up to 32 programs and can store up to 100 images in the image history. With 6 digital inputs, 4 open-collector outputs (switchable NPN/PNP), and network functions such as Ethernet / EtherNet/IP / PROFINET, it can be versatilely integrated into automation systems. The sensor is protected according to protection class IP67 and has a housing made of die-cast aluminum. With a weight of about 270 g, it is robust yet compact.
